Katherine // Self Love Portraits

Self Love Portraits are so personal; I adore them and being a part of my clients’ self love journeys. For Katherine, we wanted to incorporate floaty lace, flower petals and gold to represent kintsugi* in her exploration of self love and acceptance.

*Kintsugi, also known as kintsukuroi, is the Japanese art of repairing broken pottery by mending the areas of breakage with lacquer dusted or mixed with powdered gold, silver, or platinum.

Katherine is such an important person in my life, and capturing these for her was SO special. I love her, I love the art we made, and I'm forever grateful she trusted me with these.
